MAHEC receives an annual grant to conduct community
outreach and education activities on poison control

National Alliance

MAHEC is a member of the Alliance and receives funding
from them to provide health promotion activities to
the Latino community.
California Preparedness
Education Network
MAHEC is member of the network. Our agency receives
funding to conduct continuing medical education seminars
for health care professionals in the area of bio-terrorism
and other public health emergencies.
American Diabetes Association
MAHEC is a member of the ADA L.A. chapter Latino Programs
Committee.
Latino Community Diabetes
Council
MAHEC collaborates with LCDC to bring diabetes awareness
& education activities to Latinos in L.A. County.
